This baofeng UV-5R is a transceiver, a micro-miniature multiband FM transceiver with extensive receive frequency coverage, providing local-area two-way amateur communications along with unmatched monitoring capability.

The simple and logical controllers help you tune in to any frequency in the range of 136-174 Mhz (VHF) and 400-520 Mhz (UHF). While it has its own removable antenna it has been proved to work perfectly with NA-771 antenna. Default battery’s capacity is 1800 mA which allows the radio to work for up to 12 hours.

This uv-5r model has an excellent price for such high quality product. BaoFeng radios are famous for being small in size which makes them comfortable to use, and this model is not an exception.
