Product malfunction

I wanted to prepare fufu from plantain and cassava. Immediately I connected to power source, rotary system started for about 2 seconds, then explosive sound with a spark from lid. Rotation stopped instantly but product boiled and cooked content. I had to remove cassava and pound in mortar. Can’t be sure where the fault is from and no idea as to where and how to get it fixed. Money gone, but reason for buying product still pending.
