At first, I was disappointed by the small package size, but that quickly changed once I saw it didn’t need much space for the parts. My initial impression wasn’t great, as I didn’t like the blocky finish on the writings and hands, and the item was smaller than the picture suggested. The instructions about fixing the hands were confusing until I realized the hour and minute hands must be attached backward to the motor piece first, then removed and fixed correctly with the glowing parts facing forward. Though this was unclear initially, it still worked fine. Applying the numerals was mostly satisfying, though occasionally frustrating. I appreciated the included paper guide for aligning the numerals so that the clock hands point accurately at them. There were two sets of alignment holes for different distances from the hands, which was helpful. I had some trouble keeping the numerals straight on the wall but managed with a steady hand. Remember to peel off the thin paper behind each numeral. The adhesives seem to be holding well so far. The entire process took about an hour from unboxing to finish, and it didn’t feel like wasted time. I would like to see improved finishing on the product and larger parts as advertised—this was my main reason for deducting a star. Overall, I recommend it if you’re interested, but keep in mind it’s smaller than expected and the finish isn’t exactly as shown in the description.
