Overall, this is a great tool, but note that it doesn't come with a 9V battery out of the box. Keep an eye on the battery level, as the device gives some distinct warning signs when it starts to run low: the continuity mode is usually the first feature to stop working, the display will completely cut out during a short circuit, and it will begin showing inaccurate measurements when the charge gets critically low. To avoid any false readings or confusing behavior, just make sure to place in a fresh 9V battery right from the start.
