I was skeptical about this iron because I've seen other irons with 1200W rating and yet still doesn't heat a lot. Being someone who uses spray starch to iron my difficult to iron linen clothespins, I really needed an iron that heats up well. I wanted to buy a Binatone iron because I had used a Binatone iron for about 9 years that heats up very well before it got damaged so I wanted exactly that same type of iron but then I saw this iron at a very cheap price and lots of good reviews about so I thought, why not? I made the purchase and I'm also now attesting to the fact that it's truly on par with the Binatone I had. It heats up very well and the non-stick soleplate prevents any burning. And oh, the steam feature really makes it easier ironing my difficult to iron linen clothes. I save money on purchasing spray starch everytime ☺️ Great iron. Let's see how long it lasts
