you took it back and never returned my money

I bought this thing a month or two ago. When I received it, it wasn't working properly, only connecting on occasion. So I returned it. After it was picked up, a stranger called me claiming to be the seller of the item. He told me he wanted to text over WhatsApp to discuss the reasons I returned the item. I told him, I did not want it anymore and that I wouldn't be able to pick it up. He replied, he couldn't return my money back to me. He said, once the call has been ended, jumia starts an auto return process that is irreversible. I told him to just send my money back. He refused. After the first attempt at return. They never tried again. I texted and called him back to no avail. So I resorted to calling and emailing Jumia, even leaving a one star review. But, alas, nothing worked. My money was gone, and it was time to give up on the hope of ever getting it back. In short. Do not buy this horrid product. Unless you want to go through what I went through for absolutely no reason.
