The D-Link DES-1005A/B 5-Port 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Switch is a compact and reliable networking solution for expanding wired network connections at home, in offices and in small businesses.
It provides five 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports, allowing you to connect computers, printers, routers, IP devices, network storage and other Ethernet-enabled equipment. The ports automatically detect the connected device's network speed and negotiate between 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX, as well as full- and half-duplex operation.
The switch supports Auto MDI/MDIX, eliminating the need for crossover cables, while its store-and-forward switching and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control help provide reliable data transmission. With plug-and-play operation, no complicated configuration is required.
It is an ideal choice for home networks, SOHO environments, offices, small businesses, classrooms and other locations that need additional Ethernet ports.
