Core Functions

TPM (Total Polar Materials) Measurement: Evaluates oil quality and aging caused by heat and oxidation. As frying oil breaks down, polar materials increase; this meter quantifies that degradation to signal when oil should be changed.
Dual Temperature & Quality Display: Shows both the current oil temperature (in °C or °F) and the %TPM value simultaneously on the backlit screen.
Color LED Alarm Indicator: Features a traffic-light LED alert system (Green/Yellow/Red) to quickly notify the operator:
- Green: Fresh, usable oil.
- Yellow: Critical/Aging oil; replacement recommended soon.
- Red: Expired oil exceeding safety limits (%TPM > 24%); immediate oil change required.
Data Hold & Alarm Limit Settings: Allows users to freeze the current reading on-screen (HOLD button) and set custom %TPM alarm thresholds.

Basic Operating Steps

Turn on the tester and ensure the oil is heated within the operating range (+40 °C to +200 °C).
Immerse the long probe into the hot oil between the Minimum and Maximum depth line indicators shown on the shaft.
Gently stir the probe in the oil for a few seconds to equalize the temperature.
Read the %TPM value, temperature, and LED color indicator on the screen to determine if the oil is safe for continued use.
