It's cool...but I think it'll work great on a relaxed or telexed hair (This hair type occurs when, the relaxer doesn't take off all the proteins in your hair for it to be completely relaxed. Because it's washed of in a few minutes. And sometimes causing to use its weight). Since my hair is 4c... the straighter gave me a blown-out look. That is, the look you get when you blow-out your hair. It didn't look straight or shiny nor was it bouncy. In short, I think that it'll work great on relaxed black hair and already straight hairs.
