1. When choosing children's shoes, please be sure to measure your child's net foot length and add an appropriate allowance. This will ensure the shoes are comfortable for your child.
Allowance Explanation: For seasons with thin socks: Net foot length + 0.5~1.0 cm = Inner shoe length. For seasons with thick socks: Net foot length + 1.0~1.5 cm = Inner shoe length. For shoes with a low instep (for seasons with thin socks): Net foot length + 0.5 cm = Inner shoe length. For shoes with a high instep (for seasons with thin socks): Net foot length + 1.0 cm (minimum allowance) = Inner shoe length.
2. Children's shoe sizes do not have the same standard as adult shoe sizes. Therefore, when choosing children's shoes, you must first measure your child's foot length, add an allowance, and choose according to the inner shoe length. Do not rely on experience, as children's feet change every day.
3. Shoes that are too big or too small are not good for walking or foot development. The specific amount of allowance depends on whether the mother prefers a looser or tighter fit. Mothers should measure the shoes themselves to understand the characteristics of their child's feet. The most important criteria for choosing shoe size are the length and width of the child's feet, not necessarily their age.
4. If your baby's feet are particularly wide or have a high instep, after selecting the size according to the baby's foot length and the size selection instructions in the product details, you can choose half a size to a full size larger.
For example, if your baby's foot length with socks is 11.4 cm, adding 1 cm makes it 12.4 cm. Size 15 corresponds to an inner length of 12.5 cm. Therefore, if your baby is wide, size 16 would be more suitable. However, if your baby's foot length with socks is 10.9 cm, adding 1 cm makes it 11.9 cm. Size 14 is 12 cm, and size 19 is 12.5 cm. In this case, size 19 is sufficient.
