Glass Suction Cup Operation Safety Manual

1、 Tool Description

Glass suction cup (glass extractor) is a manual tool used to suck and lift smooth surface objects such as glass plates. It generates vacuum by deforming the adhesive pad and uses atmospheric pressure to adsorb objects, achieving lifting and moving of objects.

2、 Usage method

1. Cleaning preparation: Use a cloth to wipe the rubber pad and the lifted object clean, ensuring that there is no oil, moisture, or dust.
2. Adsorption operation: Align the adhesive pad with the object and place it flat. Apply force to press the suction cup tightly onto the surface of the object, while pulling down the plastic handle to deform the adhesive pad and form a vacuum chamber to adsorb the object.
3. Handling operation: After the items are moved and put down, turn the handle to its original position, restore the flatness of the rubber pad, and release the vacuum to separate them; If the suction cup is not removed, gently lift the edge of the rubber pad to allow air to enter the vacuum chamber for separation.

3、 Safety precautions

1. Before operation, it is necessary to understand the performance and working principle of the tool, and if necessary, experienced personnel should provide on-site guidance.
2. Check if all parts of the tool are intact, if there are no scratches or cracks on the parts, and if the rubber pads have hardened.
3. Only applicable for short-term extraction of items. For long-term use, check the adhesion strength of the rubber pad and reinstall it if necessary.
4. As a handheld tool, it is prohibited to use it on large equipment such as cranes and hoists, and cannot support human body weight.
5. The surface of the lifted object should be smooth, dry, clean, and impermeable, without oil, water, or dust pollution.
6. Regularly check the elasticity of the rubber pad and replace it promptly when the load capacity decreases.
7. Before use, add a few drops of lubricating oil to the suction cup column to enhance its effectiveness.
When idle, place the suction cup on a flat surface to avoid deformation of the rubber pad due to pressure.
9. Maintenance can only use original spare parts, and non original parts cannot guarantee quality and performance.
