The LX50 supports up to 500 users/fingerprint templates and stores up to 50,000 attendance transactions, providing sufficient capacity for many small and medium-sized workplaces. Its 2.8-inch TFT display provides a clear interface for viewing employee information, fingerprint verification results and attendance-related functions.

For attendance verification, the LX50 uses a ZKTeco optical fingerprint sensor and supports fingerprint authentication. The published specifications also identify a built-in 125kHz RFID proximity-card reader on supported LX50 versions, giving businesses an additional card-based verification method. The terminal also supports USB Host/Client communication for transferring attendance information and employee data.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT CLARIFICATION

The ZKTeco LX50 is NOT a facial-recognition attendance machine.

The Jiji advertisement title currently describes the product as “Time Attendance + Face + Finger + Password,” but ZKTeco's official LX50 specifications identify it as a fingerprint time-attendance terminal. The official specifications list fingerprint capacity, an optical fingerprint sensor and, on applicable versions, a 125kHz RFID reader; they do not specify a facial-recognition camera or facial-recognition capacity.

Therefore, for your Jumia or marketplace listing, do not use “Face Recognition” as a feature unless the physical device has been confirmed to be a different LX-series model.
