How to Participate

• ✔ App Exclusive: Participation is available exclusively on our mobile app. To join the hunt, please download the latest version for your device (Android or iOS).
• ✔ Start Time: The hunt officially begins at the date and time indicated by the countdown timer.

How It Works

• ✔ The Hunt: For each Treasure Hunt, one (1) item will be hidden at a random location within the app.

  For example, a special voucher might be hidden within the "Women's Shoes" category under a product name like "Slippers."

• ✔ Identifying the Item: The item will be identifiable by its product image, which will clearly indicate that it is the Treasure Hunt item.
• ✔ Pricing at Checkout: The item will not display its special hunt price on the product or category page. The special price will only take effect when you proceed to checkout.

  For example: The item may be listed at a price of GHS 1,000, but once you proceed to checkout, a discount will be applied automatically to make the final price GHS 15.

• ✔ How to Win: The first participant to locate the hidden item, add it to their cart, and successfully complete the checkout process will win the item.
• ✔ First-Come, First-Served: Finding the item or adding it to your cart does not reserve it. The item is only secured once payment is successfully processed.

Rules & Restrictions

• ✔ Item Availability: Only one (1) item is available per Treasure Hunt slot.
• ✔ Win Limit: A customer may only win one (1) item during this promotion. Furthermore, individuals who have won any previous Jumia Treasure Hunt are not eligible to win again.
• ✔ Payment Method: All Treasure Hunt items are Prepaid Only. Cash on Delivery (COD) will not be an available payment option for these items.

Winner Eligibility & Verification

• ✔ Exclusions: Jumia employees, their immediate family members, partners, and associated agents are not eligible to participate.
• ✔ Prize Claim: The winner must collect the item in person at the Jumia Corporate office.
• ✔ Identity Verification: Winners must provide valid identification. You may also be required to verify your identity via an active social media account (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram).
• ✔ Publicity Agreement: By participating, the winner agrees to the use of their name and likeness (e.g., photos) by Jumia for promotional purposes.
