My vision is a very inspirational and motivational book, It helps to think beyond the limits.

Well written book about Dubai's development and transformation to Middle East economy hub. However, although its transformation is remarkable with an extraordinary success.

The author provides valuable insights into developing a modern country with a modern society. However, I remain with little insight on how Dubai transformed from a trading outpost to a financial centre. The author provides precious little history and information on how this transition occurred. Also, the author appears to downplay the role oil revenues played in aiding this transformation. The author has further provided little insights on democracy and the fact that he dies not have to compete on the market for ideas to remain in power - he is a monarch.

Overall however, it is a decent read on managing the development process, albeit, one that reads like a party manifesto.
