This switch is located between the drivers and the drivers door. It can operate and open the front luggage storage compartment and the rear motor & engine lid cover of for 911 987 , and .
This switch is prone to failing and breaking and will leave you unable to easily open your luggage compartments or engine lid. You 't need any tools to replace it. Simply remove the switch, disconnect the electrical connector and then fit the connector to the new switch and then fit the whole assembly back into original location.
If your hood and deck lid switch fails, replace it as as possible to your hood and declid can be opened and closed normally. check your Part number you order it.
