The device operates in AD mode can drive up to two 315W4R loads and two 150W unclipped power8R loads at a of 10% and features a 2 VRMS analog input interface that supports interfacing with high-performance DACs eg TI's PCM5242 seamlessly In addition to audio performance the TPA3255 combines efficiency with ultra-low power stage idle losses 25W
This can be achieved with an 85mR MOSFET with an optimized gate driver scheme Compared with discrete implementations this scheme can significantly reduce idle losses
