This works fantastic for me, it leaves my hair moisturized all the time, this is so awesome. Even after I wake up from a long sleep with a bonnet, the hair is still moisturized. I don't need to flood my hair either, just a little and I'm good. So the other part of the purpose of this product, I'm yet to see. So yeah, if you need it to keep your hair moisturized go for it.
