Fast Dampcure DPC 5L - White

FAST DAMPCURE DPC is a specialized waterproofing solution. It is a polymer-based primer and barrier coating for blocking water and the treatment of rising damp. 
Specification

Surface Preparation  

• Fast Dampcure DPC must be applied directly to the firm, clean surface. 
•  Surface may be slightly damp, but not wet.
•  Remove all existing paint completely from the area, back to the bare substrate.
•   Abrade smooth, hard surfaces to provide a key for adhesion. 
• Remove all grease, oils, mould and stains by washing surface with FAST GREASE BUSTER.
•  Rinse with water. 
•  Remove any soft, disintegrating or loose plaster or brick.
•  Then re-plaster. 
• Spot prime cracks with Fast Dampcure DPC  then fill with Fast  Fill. 

Application Details   

• Mixing : Stir or shake thoroughly before use. Method  Brush
•  Thinning : Thin first coat with 20% FAST MINERAL TURPENTINE 
• Cleaning : Clean equipment immediately after use with FAST MINERAL TURPENTINE
•  Drying time :  4 Hours
•  Recoating time : 4 Hours (2 to 3 coats, depending on porosity of surface)  

Application tip

•  It is recommended to divide the surface into 3 equal horizontal sections. 
•  Apply FAST DAMPCURE DPC to bottom section and allow to dry.
•  Next apply FAST DAMPCURE DPC to middle section and allow to dry. 
•  Next apply FAST DAMPCURE DPC to top section and allow to dry. 
•  Finally, apply a 2nd coat of FAST DAMPCURE DPC to entire section and allow to dry 24 hours. 

Safety Precautions 

•  Keep out of reach of children
•  Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
•  In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser. 
•  Avoid contact with eyes – In case of contact, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if symptoms persist. 
•  Harmful if swallowed. Do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention.
