Diode Test: Connect the red test probe to the anode of the diode to be measured and the black test probe to the cathode of the diode to be measured. The reading on the display is an approximation of the forward voltage drop of the diode. Reverse connection will show "OL".

Continuity Test: Connect the test probes in parallel to each end of the measured circuit. The will sound, when the resistance of the measured circuit is less than 35Ω.
