According to this principle, this circuit can be effectively converted into a proximity switch for elevator floor control. Debug method:

The L1 and L2 of this machine use copper conductors on the printed board to form inductances. You do not need to make your own inductances. It is simple and has a very high succe rate! The circuit has just used more than ten components, as long as the installation is correct, it can generally work normally. Ar installation, connect the power supply, adjust the potentiometer to just not make sound (if it is not close to the metal), use the printed board to approach the metal, and it should make a sound at this time. Turn the potentiometer counterclockwise and try again until it meets the requirements.

The long beep ar power-on is because the front oscillator stage did not vibrate. It is poible that the resistors, transistors and other components are misplaced, or there is an inter-turn short circuit or open circuit in the circuit board coil. Please check carefully with a magnifying gla. In addition, the amplification factor of Q2 is too low to make Q3 turn off and it will be long.
