This circuit design uses 12AX7 (or higher-end ECC83) as the voltage amplifier and EL34B as a single-ended Cla A output. The rectifier section does not use low-efficiency tube rectification, but uses Phil's rectifier transistor and field effect tube electronic filtering . The music background is very quiet and the extension is excellent.
