Q:Do you use this for daily combing or only when there's matting?

A:I prefer to use a comb with tines much closer together for the daily grooming of my cats and use this tool when mats are present.

Q:Has anyone used this on a dog that has an undercoat? I have a long haired border collie.

A:We have golden retriever， works really good， cleans undercoat， thins & trims long hairs.

Q:will this work on my saint bernese pup he is a mix with saint bernard and bernese mountain dog

A:I use it on a border collie. His hair is very thick. My other brushes either dont get deep enough or the pins pull out. You should be good!
